41.jpg (36401 bytes) Pomona Valley Timing Associations dragster from Pomona, CA.  Usually driven by Dawson Hadley.  The PVTA operated the Pomona Drag strip.  (Dave Sorenson)

45.jpg (29599 bytes) The 35 Coupe with the moon eyes belonged to Archie Ary from Colton, CA ( one of the founders of the Colton Drag strip...thus the name on the side).  Archie went on to field a chopped crosley fuel coupe and later a fuel dragster.  (Dave Sorenson).
