Cars My Family and I Have Owned.
This was my first car, a 62 Ford Fairlane. It had a 260
with a 3 speed column shifter.
And this is what happens when you have a leaking wheel
cylinder and it saturates your brake shoes (sanding the shoes doesn't
help). It constantly pulled to the Left. One day I wasn't paying
attention and went across the road into a ditch and hit a culvert pipe at around
50 mph. Broke my nose on the steering wheel and broke the windshield with
my head.
This was my first new vehicle, an 89 Toyota 4x4. Ended
up trading it in after I rebuilding the transmission and Engine.
This is my oldest brothers Impala. He stuck a racing
motor in it and spent most of his time tuning the thing. Ended up trading
it to a friend who ran it at the drag strip and went through a few rear ends.
I ordered this truck out of Oakland using the fleet
department. The color was Wedgwood blue, in certain light it either looked
black, blue, or purple. Drove real nice and loved all the room in the cab,
but couldn't afford the gas bill.
Another shot of my 1999 f-250 super duty.
